"Xibicion" Santo Rico ("Xibicion") is a diverse group of semi-professional performers comprised of students that have successfully completed Santo Rico's fundamental curriculum of classes, and who are interested in pursuing dancing as a professional hobby.

The "Xibicion" concept came to be in 1998, when the organization's President, Thomas Guerrero, was summoned to work on a project with some of the students of Forest Hills High School in Queens, NY. Upon the completion of the project Thomas recruited some of the students who had trained with him for the duration of the project to form "Xibicion" Santo Rico. "Xibicion" meaning "exhibition", was named to serve this very purpose, to exhibit and promote Santo Rico Dance School's very formidable reputation as one of the most influential schools in the art of Latin dance in the City of New York, through a group of well-trained students who exeeded it's learning expectations. Xibicion performs at most of our local gigs throughout the city and sometimes serves as an opening act for our professional team, "Santo Rico Dance Company."

Xibicion has performed at many local lounges and night clubs such as China Club, Cherry Red Night Club and Cache Night Club. In addition, they have also performed at several Salsa congresses like the Montreal Salsa Congress in 2002 and again at the New York Salsa Congress in 2004, where they performed their highly regarded choreography, "Players Club". Xibicion has also performed in other cities such as Boston and Springfield, Mass. Xibicion currently caters to corporate, private and scholastic functions and are available to be hired for such occasions. The are also available to teach, where as part of the entertainment they hold a small workshop to interact with guests or potential students (or "Xibicionistas") as a form of introducing their art of dancing Salsa/Mambo.

Xibicion is a fun, friendly bunch who, like you, started at a beginner's level of dancing with no prior dance training.
