Julio “Kike”
Heredia
Kike has been teaching and
performing since 1996 as part of New York’s
top Mambo dance companies, including Evelyn Ramos
Salsabor Dancers, Combinacion Magica, Descarga Latina,
and currently with Santo Rico Dance Co.
Some of Kike’s dancing highlights include performing
as a Coca Cola, Heniken, Budweiser dancer for Annual
Puerto Rican Day Parade from 1997-1999, Concierto
de los Timbaleors with Jimmy Delgado 1999, Latin Madness
(off Broadway musical) in 2001, Fania All Stars at
Madison Square Garden 2000-2001, Tribute to Hector
Lavoe concert at Madison Square Garden 2006, Tribute
to Ray Barretto concert at Madison Square Garden 2006,
as one of the Cabana boys of the Copa Cabana from
2004-06. Kike has also had the privilege of dancing
for some of the world’s top Salsa artists, including
El Gran Combo, Oscar De Leon, Johnny Pacheco, Larry
Harlow, Papo Lucca, Ismael Miranda, Willie Colon,
Adalberto Santiago, Tito Nieves, Tony Vega, Jose Alberto
“El Canario”, Miosotis, Gilberto Santa
Rosa and Dominic.
In addition, among his many highlights and performing
at several Salsa Congresses throughout the world,
Kike also won 1st place at Latin Rhythm Dance Competition
in Stamford, Connecticut in 2000.
